The Taj Mahotsav is one of the most awaited events each year.

Organized to celebrate the cultural grandeur and heritage of our country, this festival is held at Shilpgram (situated near the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal) between 18th and 27th February every year.

This 10-days long cultural bonanza provides a kaleidoscopic view to the rich and vibrant cultural heritage India, bringing together a combination of rich art & crafts, cuisines, music and dance in the backdrop of the beautiful Taj Mahal.

This event, organized and managed by Taj Mahotsav Committee, was started in 1992 as a crafts mela with the aim to encourage artisans and provide them with a platform to showcase and sell their craftmanship at reasonable prices. With years, renowned artists in the culinary, art, music and dance fields kept getting associated with the festival, adding to the widespread experience it offers today.

If you want to treat the shopaholic in you, there can be no other place but the Taj Mahotsav to quench your thirst. With one of the largest and unique displays of knick-knacks, traditional jewelry, artifacts, paintings, traditional furniture, regional cuisines, mellifluous traditional music, and invigorating folk dances, etc., this is the place to be.

Treat yourself to the handiworks of over 400 legendary artisans, soul-stirring music & dance performances (especially the Brij Bhumi rendered in the age-old style), and savory regional delicacies from the length and breadth of the country.

What’s more, make the Taj Mahotsav a family affair! Treat the kids with the thrills and amusement offered by the Fun Fair – one of the best and biggest attractions for kids, packed with various fun-filled rides and more.
